PMC Day-Care Center Project
PMC Day-Care Center Project – Day – Care Center Project is one of the scheme under the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). A day-care centre has been started by the Pune Municipal Corporation since 1994, at PMC School No. 33, Lal Bahadur Shastri School, behind Congress Bhavan, Shivajinagar, Pune 5. The aim of these scheme is to protect the children for their parents went to duty or other purpose. Mainly these scheme is focused on safe and care of children. In the day care center, children between the age group of 3 months to 5 years are taken care of from 7 in the morning to 7 in the evening. PMC Health Department provides two nurses for to take care of the health of the children. Also volunteers / care takers have been appointed for taken care for children. They doing the work of maintaining cleanliness, providing food, playing toys and games, nurturing the children, cleaning the toilets and bathrooms, heating and serving the food, keeping the surroundings clean, etc. Four volunteers / care takers are working for the day-care centre and these volunteers/ care takers are working in two shifts.
